Lydia Brown is a Communications Associate at Energy Innovation, where she supports the communications and policy team by ensuring that their work gets into the hands of policymakers and journalists. In addition to executing integrated strategies across traditional and social media platforms, she also creates data-driven content informed by her work with data analytics.

Prior to joining Energy Innovation, she worked as a campaign manager and campaign consultant for first-time candidates at the local, state, and federal levels. Lydia began her college studies while still in high school and holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from The College of the Holy Cross. She also holds an M.A. in International Relations from American University’s School of International Service, where she concentrated on U.S. foreign policy and global development. Her geopolitical analysis has appeared in The Geopolitical and the Geopolitical Monitor.

Outside of work, Lydia is an avid runner who enjoys spending time outdoors, playing soccer, and reading.
